1511 East Lake Street
Minneapolis, MN 55407
Taco Taxi is open until 2 a.m. on weekdays and 3 a.m. on weekends. With its convenient location in South Minneapolis, this is an easy place to swing by and grab an al pastor or carne asada taco for a couple bucks. It doesn’t hurt that the staff is incredibly friendly too.
Several Twin Cities locations
Pizza Luce’s downtown Minneapolis location has been a late-night lifesaver when the bars close and intoxicated party-goers head back to their hotel rooms or apartments with nothing to eat. Open until 3:30 a.m. on the weekends (other locations open until 2:30 a.m.) A cheesy pizza pie can be in your hands before you know it.
2548 Hennepin Ave
Minneapolis, MN 55405
Uptown Diner on Facebook
Opening on Thursday at 6 a.m., this place doesn’t close again until Sunday at 3 p.m. which is quite fitting for a former Burger King location. A hot spot after bar close, be prepared to wait for a table. If already in the mood for breakfast, you’re in luck as the breakfast menu is quite extensive with large portions of waffles, burritos and omelets available to order. Greasy fare like chicken fingers and burgers can also be had.
Hard Times Café
21 Riverside Avenue
Hard Times Cafe is on Facebook
Open 22 hours a day, Hard Times Café has a full menu available until 3:30 a.m. With wonderful vegetarian and vegan meals, you are bound to fill up on quesadillas, biscuits and gravy, tempeh reubens, and good ‘ol french fries.
Caffrey’s Deli and Subs
3008 Lyndale Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN 55408
Caffrey’s Deli & Subs on Facebook
Back in college, bar-goers would flock to the nearest sandwich shop hoping copious amounts of bread would absorb the alcohol. College isn’t a pre-requisite for late night sandwich binging as Caffrey’s is open until 3 a.m. everyday and is packed after bar close. Swing by for the Blue Cow sub filled with roast beef and blue cheese or the popular Ranch Gobbler with smoked turkey, melted cheddar and ranch.
