ST. PAUL (WCCO) — One person is recovering after being shot through the window of a third floor apartment in St. Paul overnight.

Police said the shooting happened just before 2 a.m. at a building along East 7th Street in St. Paul.

Police say birdshot from a shotgun came through the third-floor window. It hit the victim in the back, but that person’s injuries are said to be minor.

The victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, and is expected to be OK.
