1 Dead In Crash With Semi On Icy Hwy. 41

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A person was killed after colliding with a semi on Highway 41 Monday.

The Minnesota State Patrol said around 3:45 p.m., a truck crossed a center line and crashed head-on with a semi.

The truck went off the road and ran into trees.

The person driving the vehicle was killed. Information about that person will be released later Tuesday.

The semi driver was not injured.

Hwy. 41 at the Minnesota River was closed for a period of time while the State Patrol investigated.

Officers said roads were icy at the time.
