Alaska-Anchorage Beats Minn. St., Mankato 4-0

MANKATO, Minn. (AP) -- Chris Kamal made 35 saves as Alaska-Anchorage shut out Minnesota State, Mankato 4-0 in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association game on Friday.

Kamal had 15 saves in the second period for the Seawolves (13-17-3, 10-15-2).

Nick Haddad had two goals and Tommy Grant and Craig Parkinson added a goal each. Grant's goal was a power-play tally.

The Mavericks (14-15-6, 8-15-4) were 0-for-5 on the power play.

Minnesota State, Mankato outshot the Seawolves 35-27.

Mavericks goalie Austin Lee and Phil Cook combined for 23 saves.
