HOPKINS, Minn. (WCCO) — A 15-year-old newspaper delivery boy was cited for stealing a customer’s cell phone while he was making his rounds in Hopkins on Wednesday morning. Police say the teen and his father were making deliveries when the teen stole a woman’s cell that she left outside her apartment door while she briefly stepped inside.
Police were contacted and they tracked down the suspect and recovered the phone, still on the teen.
Police say the father and son were not cooperative. No word on whether they are still delivering newspapers.
