Police Arrest Mpls. Woman Who Threw Baby Into Snowbank

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minneapolis woman who threw her baby into a snowbank in March has been arrested Friday, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.

In April, Ashley Renee Couch, 21, pleaded guilty to charges of child endangerment and neglect.

After Couch failed to appear at a court hearing for sentencing Thursday, a warrant was issued for her arrest.

On Friday at 1:30 p.m., Couch was arrested at a house in Minneapolis without incident. She is currently in the Hennepin County Jail.
