MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minnesota Timberwolves fans have waited more than two years, and Ricky Rubio is set to finally arrive in the Twin Cities on Monday.

The team’s 2009 first-round pick agreed to a contract last week. The 21-year-old Rubio’s flight is scheduled to land in the Twin Cities at 12:30 p.m.

The team says the media will be able to see him when arrives, but he won’t do any interviews until Tuesday.

Rubio decided to stay in Spain for the last couple of years before agreeing to the multi-year contract last week. The Timberwolves hope the point guard will bring much-needed stability to the team for years to come.

So is he flying in by himself? I mean is he using a plane or flying in like Superman? Does he raise the dead and walk on water too? This is the “savior” of the terrible Timberwolves? Yeah! Right!

BOOOOOO!!!!!!!! No jumpshot to speak of, light in the pants Euro-League bench warmer. Khan is a con! The NBA should tell Taylor to get it in gear or shut down the team. This has gotten rediculous!
