Mpls. GRAD Retests Canceled In Shutdown
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The government shutdown has led Minneapolis Public Schools to cancel retests required for graduation assessment.
The Minnesota Graduation-Required Assessment for Diploma (GRAD) and the Minnesota Basic Skills Test (BST) were originally scheduled for July 19.
The spokesperson at Minneapolis Public Schools said that the next opportunity for retests won't be until November 2.
Furthermore, the shutdown is also affecting students who took the retest in June. Those results are not being delivered to families until after the shutdown ends.
