PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — The guest list for this year’s governor’s pheasant hunt in South Dakota included politicians, professional athletes and a former president.

The invitational hunt aimed at boosting economic development is held annually, bringing in mostly business leaders. But KELO-TV reports that this year’s 10-page guest list included former President George W. Bush and former Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre.

Neither could make it to the hunt earlier this month, but avid hunter and former Minnesota Twins slugger Kent Hrbek did, as did media mogul and bison rancher Ted Turner.
