72-Year-Old Dies In Motorcycle Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 72-year-old is dead after a motorcycle crash on Highway 35 near County Road E in Oak Grove Township Saturday night.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department was notified of the one vehicle accident around 8:57 p.m. Saturday.

Upon arrival, crews found a motorcycle in the ditch of Highway 35 and the operator ejected.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. He Has been identified as James Swenson of Trego, Wis.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Wade Strain with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
