MOA Blasted As One Of Nation's Ugliest Buildings
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Mall of America is one of the most popular destinations in the country but, according to one magazine, it's unspeakable ugly.
Editors at California Home and Design talked with a bunch of architects about the most "eye-searingly awful" buildings in the country.
Mall of America was included on their list.
Architect Neal Schwartz says the mall is the "poster child of quantity over quality." Schwartz continued, "One has to wonder what the city itself might have been had these resources gone back to its downtown core."
Some of the other buildings that made the magazine's list of worsts include Boston City Hall, Trump Tower, the Denver Public Library, and the Geisel Library at the University of California in San Diego.
