MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Timberwolves announced their pre-summer league roster on Thursday, a group that compete for spots in the team’s summer league that starts in Las Vegas next week.

The group includes 21 players that will be narrowed down after minicamp as the team heads to the NBA Summer League next week. Highlighting the group is last year’s No. 2 overall pick Derrick Williams and Wes Johnson, who was the team’s first-round draft pick in 2010.

Robbie Hummel, this year’s only draft pick for the Timberwolves and Malcolm Lee, last year’s second round pick, are also on the roster. This year’s undrafted free agents who have been picked up by the Timberwolves include former Minneapolis North star Kammron Taylor and Ohio State standout William Buford.

David Adelman, the son of Timberwolves head coach Rick Adelman, will coach the summer league team along with Shawn Respert.
