Fire Crews Battle 2 Fires In Mounds View

MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. (WCCO) -- Fire crews in Mounds View had their work cut out for them after two fires broke out early Sunday morning.

The first one broke out around midnight, at 2206 Oakwood Drive.
Smoke and flames shooting out of the home.

Authorities say everyone made it out of the house and no one was hurt. Investigators are trying to determine how the fire started.

A couple of hours later, a fire broke out at a mobile home, off Rustad Lane in Mounds View.

Everyone also made it out of that home safely. But we're told fire officials had a tough time looking for a dog.

Investigators are also looking for a cause. There is no word on if the two fires are related.
