Roberts is waiting to be transferred back to Minneapolis, where he could face charges soon in the stabbing deaths of 57-year-old Beatrice Wilson and her teenage grandson. Her friends said Beatrice was a Liberian immigrant who was a mother to many in the community.

Minneapolis Police were called at about 4:30 a.m. Monday to the 1200 block of 10th Avenue North on a report of a stabbing. When authorities arrived, Wilson and her grandson were found dead inside the home. The incident is still under investigation.
