Man Injured After Trapped In Car In Ellsworth, Wis. Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 49-year-old man from rural Ellsworth, Wis. was injured after crashing into two trees and two concrete lawn ornaments.

Police say Andrew Francis Lacoursiere left the road off State Highway 10, near the intersection with County Highway J around 7:40 a.m. Sunday.

Lacoursiere was trapped in the vehicle for quite a while in single-digit temperatures until authorities arrived on scene.

Police say Lacoursiere was transported to Regions Hospital with undetermined injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
