Bass Lake Road In Crystal Back Open After Water Main Break

CRYSTAL, Minn. (WCCO) – City officials in Crystal say a water main break that closed the westbound side of Bass Lake Road in Crystal Monday morning has been fixed.

Crews were called out to the 6900 block of Bass Lake Road, which is just west of Jersey Avenue, at about 2 a.m. Monday to repair a water main break. Officials said Bass Lake Road was closed at West Broadway and there is a detour posted to reroute traffic while crews worked to fix the issue.

Officials said repairs started at about 7:30 a.m. and the area was back open to traffic at about noon.

But it wasn't the only water main break in the Twin Cities on Monday. Crews headed to the area of Wilshire Boulevard and Bartlett Boulevard in Mound on a water main break that has roads in the area closed.
