The Minnesota Twins say All-Star catcher Joe Mauer and his wife, Maddie, are expecting twins. Media relations director Dustin Morse made the announcement for Mauer in a tweet on Thursday night. It’s only fitting for Mauer, who was born in St. Paul and cheered for the Twins as a boy, then was drafted No. 1 overall by his hometown team in 2001. Pretty soon he’ll have to get tickets for two more.
