Man Accused In Cop Killing Pleads Guilty To Stalking

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The man once accused of killing a Cold Spring police officer has pleaded guilty to stalking his ex-girlfriend.

Ryan Michael Larson, 34, was arrested but never charged in the murder of officer Tom Decker behind Winner's Bar in Cold Spring. Larson has since been jailed for stalking his ex-girlfriend, and he pleaded guilty to charges in that case on Wednesday.

Court documents showed Larson called his ex-girlfriend's employer and attempted to get her fired on several occasions.

Larson spent several days in jail in connection with Decker's murder before being released without facing criminal charges. He has maintained his innocence in the case, saying he had nothing to do with Decker's death.

It's not yet clear was his sentencing will be in the stalking case.
