ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — A seventh-grader from Edina has won a statewide geography contest and will represent the state at the national finals next month.

He wins $100, a National Geographic DVD and a trip to Washington, D.C., where he’ll represent Minnesota in the finals. The runner-up was Francis Winter from Willmar Middle School in Willmar. Third place went to Audrey Gorman, of Our Lady of Grace in Edina.
