Scores Of Minnesota Schools Cancel Classes
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Treacherous driving conditions have led scores of schools and school districts to cancel classes for the day across the southern half of Minnesota.
Just a sampling of the districts includes Marshall, Morris, Willmar, Alexandria, St. Cloud, Mankato, New Ulm, Fairmont and Rochester.
The College of St. Benedict, St. John's University, and St. Cloud Technical and Community College in central Minnesota are also closed for the day.
The Hinckley-Finlayson district north of the Twin Cities plans to close its schools around 1 p.m. as the storm crawls northward.
