Matchbox Twenty And Matt Nathanson Headline Basilica Block Party
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Matchbox Twenty, and Matt Nathanson are among the headliners for the 19th-annual Cities 97 Basilica Block Party.
The July 12-13 event runs from 5 to 10:30 p.m. each night at the Basilica of St. Mary grounds on Hennepin Avenue at 16th Street in downtown Minneapolis.
On Friday's docket at the Sun Country Stage is Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Father John Misty and Mayer Hawthorne. At the Church Stage will be Matt Nathanson, ZZ Ward, Family of the Year, and Churchill. Then at the Vita.mn Stage will be Actual Wolf, The Cactus Blossoms and Southwire.
On Saturday, the Sun Country Stage will feature Matchbox Twenty, the Goo Goo Dolls, and kate earl. The Church Stage will host Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, WALK THE MOON, and Cloud Cult. The Vita.mn Stage will feature ON AN ON, Van Stee and Bomba de Luz.
A limited number of pre-sale tickets for the 2013 Cities 97 Basilica Block Party will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20. Prices are $45 for a single night and $80 for a two-night pass.
General admission tickets go on sale Saturday, May 4 at 10 a.m. Single-night tickets are $50 and two-night tickets are $90 through May 31.
