Pitino Announces Hires For Gopher Basketball Staff
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – University of Minnesota men's basketball coach Rich Pitino announced three more additions to his basketball staff on Thursday.
Pitino named Steve Goodson, who had been an assistant under previous coach Tubby Smith, the director of basketball operations. Shaun Brown has been named the team's strength and conditioning coach, and Josh Adel has been named video coordinator.
Pitino has been a busy man in April since taking over as Gophers basketball coach between recruiting and filling out his staff. He previously named Ben Johnson and Kimani Young as assistant coaches, and earlier this week, Dan McHale was also named an assistant coach.
