Police Seek Suspect In Robbery Of Buffalo McDonald's

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Buffalo said they are looking for a suspect after the McDonald's restaurant in Buffalo was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Authorities said the incident happened at about 11:55 p.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of 7th Street NE in Buffalo. Police said a lone suspect was armed with a short-barreled or sawed-off shotgun, got an undisclosed amount of money and left the restaurant.

Police were able to capture images of the suspect with surveillance video. The suspect is described as a white man about 20 to 25 years old and 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds with no facial hair.

Authorities said the suspect was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, a black stocking cap and white tennis shoes at the time of the robbery. Anyone with information about the incident or who can identify the suspect is asked to call Buffalo Police at (763) 682-5976.
