MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg has joined the artist lineup for the Guthrie Theater’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Goldberg is among rare performers who have won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony award. Actors Daniel Gerroll and Patricia Kalember also have been added to the gala’s lineup. Gerroll last appeared at the Guthrie in Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” in 2011.
