Man Shot To Death In North Mpls. Identified

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The man who was shot to death in north Minneapolis on Friday has been identified.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 23-year-old DeShaun Guilmant of St. Cloud.

He was found dead in a car on 36th Avenue North between Dupont and Emerson.

The Medical Examiner's Office said Guilmant was shot several times in the chest around 6:15 p.m. Friday evening.

Minneapolis Police did arrest a man in this case.

They are investigating what led up to the gunfire.
