Minneapolis FBI Arrests 4 As Part Of National Prostitution Sting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said one juvenile was recovered and four pimps were arrested in Minnesota as the result of a three-day, nation-wide prostitution sting conducted by the FBI.

The sting, called Operation Cross Country VII, addressed commercial child sex trafficking in as many as 76 cities across 46 divisions of the FBI. The sting led to the recovery of more than 100 children and the arrest of 150 pimps on state and federal charges.

In Minnesota, the Minneapolis division of the FBI arrested four pimps and recovered one juvenile. The names of those arrested have not been released. The most successful city in the sting was Detroit, which recovered 10 juveniles and netted 18 arrests.
