Man Killed In Burnsville Shooting ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials have identified the man shot dead early Tuesday morning in Burnsville.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said Wednesday that the victim was 23-year-old Abdifatah Ahmed Mahumod.

He was shot, police say, sometime around 2 a.m. on the 2100 block of East 117th Street. But officers found his body in an SUV at a Super America gas station off Cliff Road in Eagan. He his body was found with another shooting victim, who lived.

Officials have not released the other victim's name, saying it could jeopardize their investigation. His condition is also unknown.
