Excellent Educator: Champlin Park Orchestra Instructor

CHAMPLIN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) -- Judy Blomgren is WCCO's first Excellent Educator of the week.

Called "Mama B" by students, Blomgren teaches all orchestra classes at Champlin Park High School.

Judy has been teaching since 1976, and has spent the last 20 years at Champlin Park.

Students say they love her, because her door is always open. She says students know they talk to her about anything, school related or not.

Blomgren says she doesn't have kids, so her students have always been her "children."
