EAGLE LAKE, Minn. (AP) — A Kentucky man is in jail, accused of robbing a bank in south-central Minnesota.

Blue Earth County sheriff’s authorities say the 25-year-old man walked into the Peoples State Bank in Eagle Lake Tuesday morning, pulled a gun and demanded money. The man then took the cash and fled.

About 15 minutes later, a Minnesota state trooper and a Blue Earth County sheriff’s deputy found the suspect’s car driving eastbound on Highway 14 east of Janesville.

Authorities chased the car for several miles on gravel roads in Waseca County.

Eyewitnesses tell KEYC-TV officers arrested the suspect at gunpoint southwest of Waseca.

KTOE Radio reports the man was being booked into the Blue Earth County Jail.

Eagle Lake is about two miles east of Mankato.
