White Bear Lake 'Neighbor From Hell' Gets 5 Years Probation
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman was sentenced to five years probation in court Monday for harassing her neighbors in White Bear Lake.
Over the years, 50-year-old Lori Christensen, whom some call "the neighbor from hell,' the was accused of hanging demeaning signs that were targeting her neighbors and their children. She pleaded guilty to violating a restraining order. The terms of her probation deem that she not have any contact with the victims involved in the case, remain law abiding, not have any abuse of alcohol or controlled substances and be subject to random drug testing.
She'll also have to perform 50 hours of community service, seek counseling and enter chemical dependency treatment if it's deemed necessary.
Christensen's attorney said she plans to appeal the sentence, and Christensen has since moved out of the neighborhood.
