MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota has issued a crime alert saying that a student was sexually assaulted late Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Essex Street and Huron Boulevard.
The school says the incident happened just before 5 p.m. within short walking distance of the university campus. The victim was going west on Huron when a man grabbed her shoulder, causing her to stop.
