Abused Puppy Found In Sub-Zero Temps On The Mend
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A 4-month-old pit bull named Jarvis is on the road to recovery after being abused, then left out in extreme cold.
Jarvis made his first public appearance Saturday since being rescued on Jan. 5. He was found outside on the sub-zero night by Minneapolis Animal Care and Control, covered with what appeared to be cigar burns and suffering from a facial infection.
With the help of the local group Save-a-Bull Rescue, Jarvis' wounds were treated and he was taken in to a foster home. Once there, he was provided with a good diet and was able to experience proper socialization.
He is expected to make a full recovery, and is now up for adoption.
