MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 5-year-old Belle Plaine boy has been located safe after he went missing with his non-custodial mother Saturday afternoon, according to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
Scott County and Belle Plaine law enforcement officials confirmed that Nolen Joseph May-Schmitz was located and will be returned to his custodial father.READ MORE: No Injuries After Train Derailment In Plymouth

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Nichole May had a court order to visit her 5-year-old son Nolen Saturday afternoon.Once there, the two left in her blue Pontiac Grand Prix, police said.

Authorities say the investigation into the abduction will continue.
