Woman, 43, Dies After St. Cloud 2-Vehicle Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 43-year-old Annandale woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash in St. Cloud, according to police.

At 5:43 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the crash report on the intersection of 40th Street South and County Road 136.

An initial investigation revealed that the vehicle driven by the deceased victim was traveling eastbound on 40th Street at a high rate of speed and failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle then struck another vehicle traveling northbound on CR-136, causing both vehicles to go off the roadway, police said.

The occupants of the second vehicle had to be extricated and were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They are identified as 27-year-old Nathan Ray Raisanen and 25-year-old Janna Renee Raisanen, both of Dassel, Minn.

The driver of the first vehicle, Alice Jane Meuissen, was ejected from her vehicle during the collision. Meuissen later died at St. Cloud Hospital due to injuries sustained from the crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol is now assisting the investigation by reconstructing the crash scene.
