Mpls., St. Paul To Lift Winter Parking Restrictions
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis and St. Paul have announced that their winter parking restrictions will be lifted, effective 10 a.m. Thursday.
The restrictions were put in place on Feb. 23 in Minneapolis after a massive amount of snow accumulation narrowed many streets and made it unsafe for large emergency vehicles to navigate. St. Paul followed suit in later February.
Now, both city's officials believe city streets are wide enough to lift the restrictions.
As always, however, drivers should be mindful of posted parking restriction signs as long as they are still in place.
