Last Day To File For Office In Minnesota Arrives
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- The last day to enter the hunt for a state, federal or judicial office in Minnesota has arrived.
Candidates have until 5 p.m. Tuesday to file for office. So far hundreds have done so.
Many offices are on the line this year. Voters will elect a U.S. senator, a governor, 134 state House members and several other public officials.
There will be August primaries for some hopefuls, but most office-seekers will skip ahead to the general election.
Candidates who file have until Thursday to withdraw.
