MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The community plans to rally around a Minneapolis toddler whose survival has been nothing short of a “miracle.”

Fifteen-month-old Musa Dayib fell 11 stories from the Riverside Plaza apartments in Minneapolis last month. He plummeted off the balcony and landed on a thin patch of mulch.

The toddler had several broken bones and fractures and has been making a slow, but steady recovery.

Pillsbury United Communities and several Somali groups will host a fundraiser dinner Thursday night in an effort to raise money for little Dayib and his family. The suggested minimum donation is $10 per child and $20 per adult.
