MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Major League Baseball announced Tuesday that Tony Award-winning singer Idina Menzel will sing the U.S. national anthem at next week’s All-Star Game at Target Field.
It’s one of many musical performances that will be a part of the All-Star Game experience in Minneapolis. Officials said Aloe Blacc will perform on the field Monday night before the Home Run Derby at Target Field.

As part of the All-Star Game, the Minnesota Orchestra brass quintet will perform the Canadian national anthem. Country music artist Joe Nichols will sing “God Bless America.”
