Last Bit Of Snow Melts Away In Superior, Wis.
SUPERIOR, Wis. (AP) — The last remnants of snow are finally gone in Superior.
The judges in the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce's "Snowpocalypse" contest declared the last snow in the city's snow dump to have melted on Monday.
WDIO-TV reports the Chamber of Commerce came up with a contest in May to guess when it would finally disappear. Gerry Olson of Superior had the right guess and won a basket of prizes.
