Twin Cities Harvest Festival And Maze Teams Up With Minnesota Wild
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) -- If you love fall and hockey, then this is the perfect activity for you.
Minnesota's largest corn maze is teaming up with the Minnesota Wild to give people a chance to celebrate both. WCCO-TV's Kim Johnson took her sister and nephew through a stroll around the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze's 20 acres of corn stalks to learn a thing or two about their home state hockey team.
Visitors to the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Mace can navigate the larger-than-life Minnesota Wild logo, designed within tens of thousands of corn stalks, and try to answer fun questions about the Minnesota Wild. You can also jump in the corn pit, stroll through the straw bale maze and enjoy live music. There's a petting zoo, hayrides and much more for family entertainment on a nice fall day. Every year, a percentage of ticket sales are donated to a local charity.
This year, funds will go to the Minnesota Wild Foundation, which supports the game of hockey and the well-being of Minnesota children. Since opening in 2010, Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze has donated nearly $100,000 to a number of local causes.
Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze's final weekend is Oct. 25-26. Tickets cost $10 per person online or $12 at the gate. Children under 3 feet tall are free.
