MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 14-year-old boy was wounded by an accidental gunshot in rural Wadena County Thursday, according to police.

According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, police responded to a call at 8:26 a.m. about a teen who suffered a gunshot wound.

He was transported to Tri County Hospital, and was later airlifted to another hospital for treatment.

There is no word on his condition.
