MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The more time preschoolers spend in class, the better they perform in kindergarten.

The children also had better attendance than kids in part-time preschool programs.

Preschool programs like Headstart serve 42-percent of 4-year-olds nationwide, but most of those are not full-day programs.
