MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — There is a lot of excitement over the University of Minnesota’s football team’s upcoming appearance at the Citrus Bowl — so much so that there’s a shortage of flights to Florida.

Fans took to Twitter to complain about the lack of tickets from MSP to Orlando. They’re all sold out.

Sun Country Airlines has now announced they’re adding five additional direct flights to bring Gopher fans to and from the big game.

The Pioneer Press reports more than 7,000 tickets to the game have already been sold.

The Gophers face SEC runner-up Missouri on New Year’s Day.
