MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Firefighters spent part of their Christmas battling a fire in Blaine.

Crews say it started in the garage at a home on President Drive Northeast around 10 a.m. Thursday.

The family living there and their pets were able to get out safely.

The house did have some smoke damage, but the garage sustained the most damage.
