Brookston Man Dead Following Head-On Collision With Snow Plow

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Brookston man is dead following a head-on collision with a snow plow in St. Louis County Wednesday night.

A State Patrol report says 19-year-old Winston Lahti swerved into on-coming traffic on Highway 2, where he collided with a MnDOT snow plow and rolled onto the south shoulder of the road.

The plow driver, a 47-year-old woman from Duluth, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
