MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It’s one of the strangest events on ice you’ll ever see; a golf tournament on a frozen lake.

Saturday marks the 31st annual Chilly Open on Lake Minnetonka.

This year’s theme is ‘Gone Country,’ so make sure to bring the cowboy hat and boots.

Unfortunately, the golfing portion is sold out.

But there’s still a chili cook off at 1:30 p.m. and WCCO’s own Jason DeRusha is one of the judges.

Passes for the event cost $15.
