Timberwolves Gain New Fan Through Reddit
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It appears the Minnesota Timberwolves have a new fan.
Sixteen-year-old Connor sent a letter to all 30 NBA teams asking which team he should be a fan of.
He's from Washington and said he's been without a team since 2008, after the Seattle Supersonics left for Oklahoma City.
Posting the story on Reddit, Connor said only the Timberwolves responded. He said the team responded with a letter featuring the top 10 reasons to be a Wolves fan and also sent a team signed basketball.
On Reddit,Coonnor said the Wolves were the last team he sent a letter to and the team responded within five days.
He said he wrote five letters a week so some teams had more than a month to respond.
Connor also said he plans to write another letter to the Wolves president saying they've won his fandom.
