MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — WCCO-TV was happy to be a part of a big donation for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare Friday morning.

As part of a contest on “Wheel of Fortune,” viewers at home had a chance to win along with the contestants on TV. Those winnings were matched with donations to a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital of the winner’s choice. Gillette sees patients from just about everywhere. In 2013, they not only treated kids from every county in Minnesota, but also had at least one patient from every state in the U.S. and 14 different countries.
