MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The 20th annual Art-A-Whirl is taking place in Northeast this weekend.

For the last two decades it’s become one of the largest open studio tours in the country.

The event begins Friday, May 15 and runs through Sunday, May 17. Studios across Northeast will be showcasing a number of different artists.

Designers like Julie Burkhart-Haid of the Burkhart Design Studio will be showcasing their crafts for purchase.

For those that are attending more for the atmosphere than art, there are a number of different activities you can take part in the celebrate northeast’s culture.

So come celebrate local crafters, artisans, bakers, brewers and more at this neighborhood wide festival.
