Courthouse In Chaska Evacuated After Bomb Threat

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities said the Carver County Courthouse was evacuated Thursday morning following a bomb threat.

Sources in the Carver County Sheriff's office say they received a handful of phone calls about a bomb threat on the courthouse before 7:00 a.m.

Police searched the building with assistance from a K-9 unit.

Officials say the building was locked down, and employees were moved offsite.

After 11 a.m., Chief Deputy Jason Kamerud said that no bomb was found, and the building was given the all-clear.
